After you install the database it will automatically apply this fix each time you launch the game. There is a test run option you can click to attempt launching the game before you actually save the fix to see if it works, but after you save the database you will need to click install from the file menu. Now the fix will automatically be applied whenever the game is launched. Save the database from the Database menu and give it a name when prompted. In compatibility fixes select ProcessorCountLieForHybridCPU. Skip past the compatibility mode options. Provide the full path of the DS2.exe and give it a name of choosing. Launch the 32-bit version and select the new database under custom databases.Ĭlick the database menu > Create New > Application Fix. During installation Windows ADK gives the option to select multiple tools, the only one needed is Compatibility Administrator.

It might need the wrapper or you need to do the ADK fix, I have an intel 16 core laptop and had to use the ADK as DS2 has a problem with systems with a lot of cores I think (I might be wrong), but I got the black screen loading, spinning cursor then booted back to windows.
